Please help out the most amazing woman you could ever hope to know
My name is Daemon McKay. That won’t mean much to any of you reading this because you don’t know me from Adam. That being said, many of you coming to this sight know Les. She is my sister, my Irish twin, my family in everything but blood. She is the most amazing person you could ever meet. She has raised two great kids by herself and put herself through college working two part time jobs while raising her kids and, just recently, fighting cancer. Recently, her blood counts have been off and her immune system is shot. In order to complete her chemo treatments, her doctors feel she needs to be in the hospital for a minimum of one week. The cost alone is well over $25,000 because Les doesn’t have any insurance. I have already contributed $15,000 of my own funds to help with this cost and my company has come up with another $5000. That gives us $20,000. Now, I’m not going to come on here and expect anyone to raise another $5000 in 20 days. So, here’s what I’m asking. I am asking you all to help us raise $1500. If this amount can be met, I have two other fundraisers going that should help us raise the rest. I understand Les has over 600 followers on Tumblr. If everyone of those followes chipped in about $2.50, this could be raised rather quickly.
This wonderul woman is all the family I have left and I would do anything for her. I’m hoping she is important to all of you as well. I’ve even started a tumblr account for the sake of getting out the message.

So this is a thing. And this thing is very important to me because Leslie is one of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve ever met on here or in real life. She means the world to me and I just want her to be healthy/able to afford the treatment and care she needs in order to finish her chemo treatment. So please, if you can, please help. Every little bit helps, and she really needs it right now.
